Chordiant Software Names Kelly Hicks Vice President of Finance and Corporate Treasurer
CUPERTINO, CA - March 2, 2006Chordiant Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHRD), the leading provider of Customer Experience (Cx™) software and services, today announced the appointment of Kelly Hicks to the position of vice president of finance and corporate treasurer. In making the announcement, Steven Springsteel, president and chief executive officer, said "Kelly Hicks is a seasoned finance executive with a wide range of experience as chief financial officer at several Silicon Valley companies and most recently was the vice president of finance and corporate controller of Verity, Inc., which was acquired by Autonomy, Inc. Mr. Hicks' addition to Chordiant further strengthens our finance team." At Chordiant, Mr. Hicks will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, treasury, purchasing, as well as tax and transfer pricing related issues. Mr. Hicks will report to George de Urioste, chief operating officer and CFO. Prior to joining Chordiant, Mr. Hicks was the vice president of finance and corporate controller of Verity, Inc. From 2002 to 2003, he served as chief financial officer of Tahoe Networks, Inc., which was sold to Nokia. Before that, from 1999 to 2002 he was the chief financial officer and vice president of operations for Intellisync Corporation (formerly Pumatech, Inc.) He has also served in senior finance positions with Luminate Software, The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc., and Silicon Graphics. Mr. Hicks holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Chico and attended the MBA program at Santa Clara University.
