News & Events: CHORDIANT RSS FEEDS

About the Chordiant RSS Feed

Chordiant's RSS feeds are real-time information sources for news, press releases and events. Currently, we provide three RSS feeds for each of the previously mentioned items.

How Can I Get the Chordiant RSS Feed?

You can access the Chordiant RSS feeds in a number of ways. You can install a news reader (sometimes called an aggregator) that shows the RSS feeds you've subscribed to. Some browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, integrate RSS feeds directly. My Yahoo! and Google users can add RSS feeds to their personal page.

If you use one of the news readers below, simply click on the corresponding pre-populated Chordiant RSS feeds below:

If your RSS reader is not in the list above, simply click on the XML icon and follow your RSS reader's instructions for adding a new RSS feed. If you click on an RSS link but do not have a reader installed, you may see XML code in your browser.

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) provides an easy way to get fresh content delivered to you whenever an update is made on one of your favorite sites. When you subscribe to RSS feeds, you don't need to travel all over the Web to find the information you want. Instead, you get headlines and summaries collected for you in one easy-to-find place. If you want to read more on a particular item, you click a link to be taken to the full story.

RSS uses XML (extensible markup language) to share and distribute content. RSS feeds are often denoted by an orange RSS or XML box.

Typical applications for using RSS feeds include using a program known as a news reader (or news aggregator) to collect, update and display RSS feeds on another webpage. You simply plug in the addresses of the RSS files you want, such as the ones listed above. There are many good news readers and more are appearing all the time. More information on Wikipedia.
